more of our FL trip

Florida was gorgeous! It was unseasonably cool for the time of year we were there. We took full advantage, going outside more than we ever have on our previous visits. Oh, it was sooo nice! A big THANK-YOU goes to Grandad for helping make it all possible, too! THANKS, GRANDAD! :D We love you!!!

Rhiana just loved going on the golf-cart Grandad has to use to get to his palm-fields. Samuel was asked, numerous times a day, to give her 'rides'. :P Nathen's dogs, Lincoln and Kennedy, were also a big draw for her as she went outside. She loved telling them, "No, no!" And, "...nice, nice...", as Rhiana attempted to pet them. Rhiana just loved seeing all the relatives, especially Aunt Kathy. For some reason, she just was able to remember Aunt Kathy's name, "Ka-ka". So she would ask for "Ka-ka" and I knew she wanted to go and see Aunt Kathy. Of course, Aunt Kathy was always very kind and would inter-act with Rhiana on her level, which I'm sure is one of the main reasons Rhiana liked going to her house so much.

We really enjoyed seeing Brenda, again, too. She met us for dinner a couple of times, which was wonderful, 'cause she is such a busy gal, these days. Having your own business will consume you! Brenda is doing very well as a wedding event specialist. She co-owns a business with an old friend from their home-education days. I understand they are doing quite well! We're so happy for you, Brenda! :D
