a heart full of love

I just have to write, again. It's just too much fun to see if anyone responds, and well, I like writing! I've often thought of writing professionally. Like a book, I mean. It's really easier said than done, though, of course.
Nothing much of significance has happened here, lately. Yet, I want to mention how kind-hearted my husband, Todd, is to me. Late yesterday afternoon I wasn't feeling too well and so I stopped cleaning-up the house, you know, before he came home from work, so that Todd ended-up seeing the house in chaos! I felt so bad! (I hadn't really done anything for a couple of days, since we had been gone for most of the weekend.) Well, he didn't even say anything, until I said I was so sorry, he just gave me a hug and said in a very quiet voice, "That's all right." Oh, it just fills my heart with more love for him when he is so tender and considerate! Of course, I think my husband is one of the dearest men alive! I'm so very thankful for Todd and all that the LORD has done, and is doing, in his life. I'm also very thankful that I waited and kept praying and hoping for a Christian man, never compromising my beliefs, just continuing to have faith that God loved me and would want the best for me. I know Todd is very thankful, too. We've often talked about it. We've praised God together for it, too! Oh, my heart is so full with love for my dear husband! (Is it the fact that all ya'll can't see my face that gives me the courage to say these deep thoughts?!?) Mostly, I would just want to encourage any young people reading this...set your standards high and keep having faith in God wanting the best for your life! Hee, hee...I often tell Todd, "You're the BEST, Honey!"

Wonderful words Carmaan! We wives most look at our husbands like that. I may have to question you about Todd being the best (because my honey is the very best)! :) Ok he is your best and Steve is my best! God is faithful to us! We are blessed.

Carmaan, I would have to disagree with you about your DH too, how can he be the best when I have the best? :-)

Those of us that waited upon God to do the deciding (if marraige was His design for us--it might not be) are really blessed. One good book I can tell young people about is "When God writes your love story."

With our marraige and having a baby I completely turned it all over to God, as did my DH. We would have felt just as blessed by God if we hadn't married or if we hadn't gotten pregnant. The key is letting God do his work in one's life, and you really do need to just let go and go with the flow. He has so much more wisdom than any of us. Our God is so good!

Hugs to you girl!
