visiting my sister in FL

Here it is, now the 3rd of June, and I am just updating my journal! Whew...time does fly when you're having a good time! Being here in Florida these last couple of weeks has just been wonderful! I have been able to see my sister, Haley, and her family, and mainly, their new baby boy, Vincent. It was really nice to be able to get here before they left for a couple of months to be in Canada. (Yes, I said, "Canada". Haley's husband, Jeffrey, has a lot of relatives in that country, and Jeffrey's father has an additional business there. ((Jeffrey's parents live in FL and have a business here, of course.)) Jeffrey wants to work for his dad, this summer.) So, yeah, I went over to see them, Haley and family, at their apartment in Daytona Beach! We, Rhiana and I, had a great time seeing the baby and seeing what their life is like. They asked us to stay for an extra night, after the first night, and with my husband's blessing, we did just that! Haley and I had sooo much to catch up on...we do tend to talk to one another quite often, yet there is always more! I wanted to see what kinds of projects she has been working on and I wanted to see what their community was like, etc. Haley knows how to crotchet and she can sew, cross-stitch, needlepoint, ribbon embroider, scrap-booking, cook, bake, and "bring home the turkey-bacon and fry it in the pan!" ((FYI: That's an expression that means she is a very capable lady.)) I just love her!!! :D She's my lil' sis', all grown up! Vincent, or "Cousin Monty" as we like to call him, is a darling little guy! He is sooo very good, just a real "easy-going" and generally "good-natured", sort of baby, I mean. He will go to sleep in the swing chair very easily and he is mostly smiley and happy when awake. It was so precious to see his parent's with him; especially with Haley nursing and seeing how Vincent will snuggle with her, and then with Jeffrey and how Vincent will just stare at his daddy. Rhiana liked to see what "Cousin Monty" was up to, too. She would peep at him while he was in his basinette, and she would try to rock him in the swing. Of course, I had to watch closely to make sure she didn't get too excited and do something to accidently hurt the baby. All in all, it was such a wonderful blessing to be there and to visit with each other. I am so thankful for such an understanding husband in Todd. This time in Florida wouldn't have been possible without his blessing, and with faith in our Heavenly Father that ultimately, He is in control of every situation and that Todd knew I "needed" to see Haley and her family. Praise You, God!!! Thank You, Father! :)) You do answer prayer!
