Gorgeous day here in northern Kentucky! With temperatures in the low 80's, spring is definitely here. It's just awesome to see God's handiwork ~ the fruit trees budding out and daffodils shooting up from the ground...wow! I love it!!! :D
Today, we took Dada (Todd), to work at 9:30 A.M. (We had to, since the car he usually uses is "out-of-commision".) It felt great to be up early and have a little time with him, all of us together. (Dada, Samuel, Rhiana, and me.) We were able to read the Bible and enjoy breaking our "fast". With our windows open and the sun and air coming in, it just made us feel good! This last winter was one of the coldest and longest I've ever experienced in my entire life ~ I liked it and sometimes loved it, being new and all to this area of the country. Well, almost new. Of course, we lived near Louisville that first year and it snowed there, too. It was definitely colder for longer up here, though. I was so thankful we were in a new house! Everything works and there is carpet everywhere; God truly meets all of our needs!
Goodness! There are so many things going on in our lives! I don't know who might be reading this...please bare with me. It just feels so great to be able to sit and write this all down, like I'm really just writing for myself in a journal; it helps so much in organizing my thoughts! Okay, about being busy bees ~ Todd is working a lot of long hours on the days he goes to work. It's usually at least twelve hours and then a lot of times he tries to get in some overtime. It certainly helps with our "cashflow." (Anyone familiar with "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" by Robert Kiyosaki?) Yes, those can be hard days. The flip-side of it is, Todd does get to be home with us for three or four days-at-a-time on his off-time. It's wonderful! We go places and spend a lot of time just being together; talking, walking, listening to music, watching a movie, or dining together. Lately, we've also started working on some projects like clearing-out the garage and organizing the computer desk area.
Oh, my! It's after 2:00 A.M! What am I doing?!? What was I thinking?!? Oh, I'm going to pay for this, tomorrow...um, or more correctly, today! YIKES!!! :P Gotta go...more later. Much, much more!
P.S. Thanks to Kaila A. for "turning me on" to Blogger.com. Kudos! ~C
